In his luminaria works, the artist experiments with materials and forms. Throughout his creations, Dario aims to restore the values of craftsmanship and emphasize the importance of handmade creations.<\/p>\n

Making use of a variety of techniques, he gives his creations a sense of continuity between the last century and modern times. Shaping the material, his style lies somewhere between a vintage style and contemporary design.<\/p>\n

A lover of concept art, he conveys a strong and almost always clear, impactful meaning to his works. Dario has the ability to create modern and tasteful lighting fixtures. The choice of a light source in a room is crucial.<\/p>\n

The following collection of works consists of: wall chandeliers, floor lamps and table lamps.<\/p>\n

All are designed and produced by the artist and have been created by revisiting the style of the 1960s and 1970s in a modern key.<\/p>\n

Suspended light sculpture composed of two carefully overlapping steel hemispheres, leaving a central void from which a warm, intense light radiates, generated by two recessed 3W spotlights.
From the surface of each hemisphere emerge 43 plexiglass tubes of varying lengths, like solidified rays of light. Inside them, small 1W LED spheres backlight the structure, creating a vibrant, suspended aura \u2014 a controlled explosion of luminous energy.
Apollo evokes the moment when the sun breaks through the clouds at the dawn of a scorching summer day. The work is conceived as a tribute to the silent power of light, to its ability to pierce matter and bring it to life.
Poised between engineering and poetry, aluminum and plexiglass merge in a conceptual gesture that transforms the chandelier into a celestial machine: not just a source of illumination, but a manifestation of cosmic presence.
A work that invites us to look upward \u2014 as we do when the sun rises.<\/p>\n

Ceramico is a suspended light sculpture that combines textile experimentation, organic design and painting techniques to create an object suspended between art and light, designed to amplify the atmosphere and shadows generated by the lampshade. The structure has four staggered light points, supported by a satin steel rosette with two recessed LED spotlights.
The central element of the work is the sculptural lampshade, made with four wool panels. Each panel was hand-punched with a die, then kneaded in paint and shaped into a sphere to acquire a curved, organic shape. The final treatment is a multicolored paint that simulates the brilliance and texture of glazed ceramic, obtaining an unexpected and refined visual effect.
The lighting is completed by four special oval-shaped bulbs, which add a sculptural and contemporary touch to the whole.
Ceramico is a work that challenges material conventions, transforming wool into a visual object that evokes ceramics, while maintaining a lightness and flexibility that only textiles can offer.<\/p>\n

A work of <\/span>industrial design<\/strong> that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.The chandelier is shaped like a bell a metallic architecture born from the <\/span>poetic recycling<\/b> of common cutlery. The radial arrangement of forks and spoons creates a hypnotic visual rhythm. The tines of the forks, pointing downwards, act as a metallic fringe, lending the object an almost <\/span>Gothic elegance<\/b>, yet reinterpreted with a modern flair.The polished surfaces of the cutlery act as curved mirrors, capturing and fragmenting the light from the central bulb. Conceived as a tribute to lunar cycles, Eclissi is a suspended light sculpture composed of eight light points, where light, metal, and weightlessness converge in a symbolic and scenic balance.
From the circular aluminum canopy, transparent wires descend, suspending a series of double aluminum discs. Each disc contains a perimeter LED rope that forms a defined, glowing ring\u2014shining in space like an orbital echo.
What gives the piece its layered, three-dimensional character is the seemingly random application of hundreds of smaller aluminum discs. These scatter the light and enhance the sense of movement and vibration.
The result is a suspended composition evoking lunar phases, the eclipse phenomenon, and the constant transformation of perception.
Eclissi is a conceptual and immersive work, where geometric precision dialogues with the lightness of the structure, and metal\u2014typically cold and reflective\u2014becomes a living surface, animated by light<\/p>\n

CRISALIDE is a suspended light sculpture that blends textile gesture and metallic matter to evoke a transformation in progress.
From the rectangular canopy unfolds a handwoven sequence of flexible steel rings, intertwined along the electric cord in a flowing motion that guides the light toward its luminous core.
The path of the rings ends in the embrace of a large LED bulb\u2014suspended like a glowing heart wrapped in a protective mesh.
What appears to be a simple form is in fact the result of meticulous handwork, inspired by the fragile yet powerful moment of metamorphosis: the caterpillar becoming a butterfly.
Steel\u2014typically rigid and industrial\u2014is here reimagined as an organic, fluid weave that evokes the cocoon, silent growth, and the anticipation before transformation is revealed.<\/p>\n

Fontana Fredda is a suspended light sculpture that reinterprets the monumentality of a frozen fountain, capturing its essence in an ethereal, vertical composition.
The work is inspired by the poetic image of a fountain frozen in ice on Lake Misurina, conveyed through cold materials, diffused light, and rhythmic structure.. From the metal rosette unfolds a luminous geometry formed by backlit plexiglass tubes arranged in a triangular pattern: these vertical elements capture and refract light like suspended columns of ice.
Beside the tubes, parallel chains made of thousands of steel rings descend in rows of four, creating a visual contrast between the light transparency of plexiglass and the dense metallic texture of steel.
The overall length of the piece is 105 cm, and the combination of industrial elements with harmonious arrangement creates a suspended balance between rigidity and flow.
Fontana Fredda is both a luminous architecture and an emotional landscape, capable of evoking silence, frost, and wonder.<\/p>\n

The Firebird is a suspended textile luminous sculpture inspired by the formal lightness of Japanese origami and the powerful musical imagery of Igor Stravinsky\u2019s iconic ballet, to which it pays homage.
At its core is a panel made of silver-laminated cotton fabric, internally layered with heavy wool and aluminum foil, housing 40 micro 1W cold LEDs. Fully sewn around the edges with a second layer of the same fabric, the panel is shaped into a light and dynamic swallow figure by three steel cables suspending and molding it in space.
The Firebird embodies a sculptural gesture that is at once futurist, musical, and spiritual\u2014a form suspended between body and light, between structure and flight.<\/p>\n

The central body is a steel sphere, cut freehand and finished with a multicolor ceramic-effect paint on the outside and mirror polishing inside, enhancing depth and reflections.
A silicone gel breast prosthesis is fixed onto the surface with adhesive and stucco, becoming the aesthetic and symbolic core of the piece. Inside, an oblique lamp holder contains a 10W
cold LED bulb, while a 3.5W recessed spotlight in the ceiling rose highlights the sculpture from above, emphasizing its curves, volumes, and voids.
Suspended by a steel cable, the work balances body and light, exposure and protection.
The Pop Art influence emerges from the use of industrial materials and a direct, recognizable gesture, enriched with meaning by its tribute to the Doppia Elica association, which supports breast cancer prevention and research.
La cura was donated by the artist to raise funds for the Breast Center of Parma Hospital, helping purchase medical equipment.

Inside the panel, 50 micro LED spheres are carefully sewn and integrated, transforming the fabric into a luminous, tactile, and vibrant surface.
A key feature of the piece is the attachment system: five hidden magnets secure the panel to the tube, allowing the viewer to freely adjust the folds and gathers, thereby modifying the form, intensity, and rhythm of the light.
Completing the effect, a rear backlight with an 8W LED bulb adds depth and reveals the play of folds in silhouette.

Eight of the eleven flutes are adjustable, while three remain fixed, firmly anchored to the central iron tube painted gold, creating a controlled movement effect, as if the entire structure could open like a bouquet or retract with composure.
The whole composition rests on a white marble base (diameter 26 cm), providing balance and stability to an object that, while grounded, retains visual lightness and material brilliance. The flutes are positioned at various angles to create an ever-changing visual reading.

Ottoni is a striking suspended light sculpture, inspired by the brass section of a classical orchestra.<\/p>\n

The work takes the form of a sphere composed of twenty metal cones, joined together to create a rigorous yet fluid geometric structure that recalls the flared bells of trumpets, horns, and saxophones.
Each cone\u2014made of iron, painted brass on the outside and white inside\u2014houses a lamp holder from which a large LED bulb emerges. These oversized bulbs are not just functional elements but central to the aesthetic of the piece.

Progressivo is a suspended luminous sculpture blending textile material, visual rhythm, and musical culture.
The work features five staggered light points, each framed by a sculptural wool lampshade handcrafted over a cubic mold. The wool panels, soaked in varnish and dried on wooden forms, are finished with a multicolored ceramic-effect varnish, transforming the fabric into a surprisingly solid and vibrant surface.
The central body is a mirrored rosette from which cables suspend the five lamps. The rosette also houses two recessed LED spotlights that discreetly yet dramatically enhance the illumination. The oval bulbs, chosen for their full, harmonious shape, amplify the interplay between direct and reflected light.
The inspiration comes from the legendary Emerson, Lake and Palmer concert on the Isle of Wight in 1970 \u2014 a moment of energy, experimentation, and breaking norms.

Hanging chandelier in pop art style. Made of iron and PVC, the light cable is held by a painted female hand. The colours of the paint drip from the lamp on the base towards the hand, whose index finger supports and directs the inclination of the cable on which the light bulb sits. The author was inspired by the shoes of ballet dancers hanging on the wall. The length of the cord can be adjusted as desired. It emits a warm light that lends the room a relaxing atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The work consists of a base in the classic shape of a desk lamp, which is complemented by a steel shade in the shape of a duck’s beak. With a height of approx. 15 cm, it is perfect for adding a touch of taste and art to private and public spaces.<\/p>\n

Retro style floor lamp. Made of steel and moulded wool, it is about 140 cm high. The lampshade is adjustable and was made by shaping and stiffening the wool. The color of the lampshade drips over the entire structure, creating psychedelic hues with pop culture references. GUGLIELMO TELL is designed for furnishing private and domestic spaces.<\/p>\n

Contemporary floor lamp with a tubular shape. The carving in the steel creates a soft and delicate silhouette. The author was inspired by one of his old Devor\u00e8 print designs. The lights placed in the base of the floor lamp emanate along the tubular shape escaping from the steel carvings and giving the room a pleasant suffused and refined atmosphere. MIRRORED is designed to enhance and beautify both domestic and public environments.<\/p>\n

A modern design and steel floor lamp, the three steel cylinders are reminiscent of a rocket base. The light spreads, propagating an intense, soft beam of light in the air. When in operation, it is reminiscent of the shape of rockets being prepared for launch into space. Approximately 170 cm high, it gives the room an elegant atmosphere. It emanates a gentle soft light. Designed for both warm and cool tone lighting.<\/p>\n

With a contemporary design with references to the 1960s, METEORITE is a table lamp made entirely by hand by the artist. The sphere has been decomposed by creating notches and sections that open out from it. From the intersections, the light spreads gently and softly and the colour of this lamp makes it ideal for giving the room a soft atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Floor lamp in 1960s design. MARTIAN is about 155 cm high. The spheres, the light emanates from three LED bulbs installed in the centre of each sphere. Adjustable in the direction have been hand inlaid by the artist and the entire piece is painted in the same tone. The iconic shape of this floor lamp makes it ideal in any environment to which one wishes to give a touch of cheerfulness and vitality.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: Reinterpreting velvet, a material used in the past to make various clothing items.
The idea was born to drill it and couple it with tinfoil to give it more rigidity. Insert a very low voltage LED light system inside and close everything by sewing another contrasting layer<\/p>\n

Wall light composed of polished steel and treated velvet. It comes from a reinterpretation of velvet, a material used in the past to make clothes. A delicate and sumptuous work of lighting in warm tones, from this installation the light softly diffuses into the room giving a slight warm hue to the surrounding walls.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: Multiple version of stratospheric, I created it immediately afterwards inside the workshop of a coachbuilder friend of mine, in the middle of August, the city deserted, everyone on holiday, my friend painted all the components, the following week I assembled it<\/p>\n

SCOMPOSTO is a pendant chandelier with an iconic design. An object inspired by 1960s chandeliers, this wall light consists of 15 spotlights and 14 adjustable half-spheres. Suitable for any modern environment, it brings a touch of lightness to the room.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: Old artificial satellites orbiting the earth bear the marks of space storms<\/p>\n

With its contemporary and sophisticated design, SATELLITI is a chandelier with three pendants. At the base of the bright green strings are three spheres that are asymmetrically cut to give a sense of movement to the room. This object creates a kinetic effect that gives the room a sense of movement. The warm tones of the spheres make this object ideal for interior decoration and porches.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: Summer at the seaside, like all children we played with balls, creating absurd tracks on the sand. They were plastic balls, half colored, half transparent, with a small figurine of a cyclist, a footballer, etc. inside. Whoever lost was forced to give up their ball to the opponent, therefore a sort of collecting was created with changes and exchanges. As an adult I searched for and purchased large steel balls, I enjoy cutting them into slices, always creating different games.<\/p>\n

LUNARE is a chandelier with a simple and modern design.<\/p>\n

Hand-cut sphere asymmetrically and painted in bright green.<\/p>\n

The light it emits creates a relaxed and sober atmosphere in the room.<\/p>\n

Ideal with cool lights for offices and open spaces and with warmer lights for domestic places and bedrooms.<\/p>\n

TECHNIQUE: Conceptual<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: After watching a documentary on Hiroshima which dealt with the devastating effects of the atomic bomb on people.
To create this work I cut the spheres at an irregular oblique angle and melted some plastic material on top with the help of a thermal hairdryer.
to obtain long drippings I had to perform this operation every day for a month<\/p>\n

Attic wall chandelier with a contemporary style. Gives the room a unique or modern touch of style. LIQUEFACTION is a colourful, eccentric and sophisticated work of art. The spheres are covered with loose plastic material that drips like lava, forming irregular fringes of loose matter.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: There is a reference to the old crystal castellan chandeliers, until recently it was a ritual to spend New Year’s Eve inside castles and ancient homes, I toured almost all of them from north to south<\/p>\n

Suspension lamp. MAJESTIC is a ceiling charm. The shape of the chandelier gives it a regal and classic look that lends itself to rooms furnished with both modern and vintage furniture. Inspired by the old castle crystal chandeliers, it sits opulently in the room and diffuses an elegant and commemorative atmosphere in the room.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: A good pattern maker knows how to create a garment directly on the mannequin, this is what I tried to do for this chandelier, overlapping fabric panels sewn on top of each other to create an evening dress<\/p>\n

Suspension chandelier with a modern vintage style gives a sense of elegance and refinement to the room. A work composed of a rectangular structure on which are installed hand-sewn metal mesh fringes and three light bulbs that highlight the brilliance and shapes created with woven steel. ELMO is a pendant lamp that combines vintage and modern art design. A chich work of contemporary charm and 60s references. Composed of steel rings, the artist was inspired by the armour of warriors, creating a protective crush similar to the one used under the helmets of warriors. Formed by a weave of rings that are opened and closed by hand, creating a ragged effect towards the bottom, small pointed studs are present at the top, adding even more character to the work.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: Hospital bed, waking up from anesthesia, what I remember, a flash of the operating room I built this chandelier straight away, without drawing it I did some joining tests with cardboard discs<\/p>\n

SHARP is a chandelier that expresses strong personality. The careful interlocking of the clips is weighted to distribute the weights evenly along the chain, preserving the link. The disc towers together with the LEDs and pendant lamps create an image of light and reflection in the wall and surroundings. Outlining an eccentric and classic atmosphere.<\/p>\n

INSPIRATION: The blades of an electric razor looked at under the microscope. I built this chandelier straight away. Without drawing it, I did some joining and folding tests with cardboard discs. I handed the tests over to the
my craftsman to make them in steel<\/p>\n

Ceiling chandelier, consisting of elegant chains of discs that combine like wall jewellery to give an original and chic effect. The chains of steel discs decorate the wall like jewellery. BLADES is an object that gives a sense of movement, the pendants give a kinetic optical effect and the light reflected on the pendants diffuses soft lighting into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Chandelier with a modern design. For wall or ceiling use, the four flutes installed on the rectangular wall light are adjustable and can be directed. While clearing the table I took 4 glasses at a time with my fingers and I realized that by joining them together their slightly conical shape made it possible to obtain a roundness, by joining many glasses I would have created a perfectly spherical shape<\/p>\n

Extravagant and original, CHEERS is entirely composed of tritan wine glasses, shockproof material and
scratchproof.
The internal light illuminates the flutes generating a pleasant prismatic effect that reflects the colors on the wall. This modern work gives a strong personality to the space. This light sculpture is not a mere piece of furniture, but a <\/span><\/span>brutal and elegant still frame<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u2014an explicit homage to the “cold” and geometric aesthetic of Dario Argento\u2019s masterpiece, <\/span><\/span>Tenebre<\/i><\/span><\/span> (1982).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each cylindrical element is truncated by <\/span><\/span>sharp, oblique cuts<\/b><\/span><\/span>, reminiscent of wounds inflicted upon the metal. These slashes are not purely aesthetic; they simulate the <\/span><\/span>trajectory of a blade<\/b><\/span><\/span> or, more precisely, the razor-sharp nature of the sculpture which, in the film\u2019s finale, becomes a spectacular and accidental instrument of death. The multi-directional orientation of the tubes creates a <\/span><\/span>dynamic tension<\/b><\/span><\/span>, as if the object were captured at the exact moment of an explosion or a fatal impact.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The suspension via thin steel cables grants the entire structure a sense of <\/span><\/span>menacing instability<\/b><\/span><\/span>. It seems to float in a void, weightless, echoing Argento\u2019s directorial style, which often detaches an object from its reality to transform it into a <\/span><\/span>fetish of pure aesthetic terror<\/b><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If the film <\/span><\/span>Tenebre<\/i><\/span><\/span> is a reflection on the act of seeing and the violence of art, this lamp is its <\/span><\/span>luminous translation<\/b><\/span><\/span>. It does not merely illuminate a room; it “cuts” through it, projecting angular shadows that evoke the haunting scenography of Giuseppe Bassan.
